Seven Techniques to Uncover Your Life Purpose

There are various paths to explore when it comes to finding your life purpose. Unfortunately, though, nobody else could find it for you. Since your life purpose is different from anyone else's, it's a mission that you - and only you - can accomplish.

In your quest for passion, focus on enjoying the journey itself. Sometimes when you stop thinking about your life's purpose, it drops into your lap!

Here are several ways you can learn your life purpose:

1 . Write about your feelings. Try journaling with a pen and paper, or grab your laptop and just begin scribbling. Write about how you truly feel and what you desire out of life. Keep in mind that nobody is going to read this other than you, so do not be scared to express your thoughts.

* Go back and reread your entries every so often. Often times this practice brings you new realizations that you did not think of when you were writing it in the first place.

2 . Follow your passions. If you are interested in a particular topic, perhaps you can create a career or hobby out of it so that you could participate in activities which are personally significant to you. By doing this, every day of your life might feel like it matters and you may have a life purpose.

3. Consider your skills. Look at the areas in which you naturally excel and see if you can turn these abilities into something meaningful for you.

* A lot of people are drawn to a life purpose which makes them feel as if they're creating a true difference in the lives of others. You might find it gratifying to be using something you are good at to help other individuals that are in need.

* For instance , if you discover that you're good at encouraging individuals, maybe you can consider a career as a counselor.

4. Speak with inspiring individuals. Strike up a conversation with someone who inspires you. While you might not be interested in the same stuff, you can talk about how they uncovered their own life purpose. Their own triumphs and challenges will make great lessons for you in your journey to your purpose.

5. What gives you joy? Think about the instances in your life when you are most happy. What are you doing at these times? You can start the mission for your life purpose by using what actually makes you happy.

* Maybe your are most delighted when you're just relaxing at home with your family. That is a wonderful gift!

* Remember that you are not actually looking for something exotic! After all, your life purpose might already be under your nose.

6. Adapt to change. Sometimes the thing that holds you back from self-discovery is a fear of change. There's comfort and safety in not taking risks, but you also might never uncover your life's real purpose. Learn to embrace change because life is constantly changing around you.

7. Uphold your own values. Everyone has a set of values that they tend to adhere to in life. You may use your own beliefs as a beginning point to finding you life purpose. Make a list of your values with your most important ones at the top. Think about what you could do to honor those values in life each day and you might find your purpose.

Discovering your purpose in life might not be as difficult as you think. Use these techniques on your quest and someday soon you'll realize that you've found the one feature of your life which makes everything worthwhile.
